BankSnipe is an independent, editorial reference site. It collects no bank credentials, hosts no logins, and asks for as little personal data as possible. This page covers both how we handle data and the terms for using the site.

Privacy Policy
What we collect
- We never ask for, collect, or store bank credentials, passwords, card numbers or account details. There are no account logins or sign-ins anywhere on this site.
- The only form on the site is an optional suggestion box for correcting our data. It asks for a message and, optionally, a reply email so we can follow up. Nothing else.
- If you email us, we keep your message and address for as long as needed to respond and keep a record of the correspondence.
Analytics & cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful, things like page views and rough country. To do this Google sets cookies and processes data such as your IP address and a randomly assigned identifier. We use this only in aggregate to improve the site; we do not sell or share your data, and we don't run advertising trackers.
You can opt out at any time using your browser's cookie controls, a tracker-blocking extension, or Google's opt-out browser add-on. Browsing BankSnipe itself does not require any cookies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you can ask us what data we hold about you, request a copy, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@banksnipe.com and we'll sort it out.
Terms of Use
Independence
BankSnipe is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any bank listed here. All bank names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Every outbound link points to a bank's official developer portal or official corporate domain. We never proxy, mirror, or imitate a bank's login pages.
Accuracy and "as-is"
The data here is editorial and community-curated, and bank API programmes change often. We work to keep it accurate but make no warranty that it is complete or up to date. Always confirm details against each bank's official developer portal before you build or commit. BankSnipe is provided as-is, and we accept no liability for decisions made on the basis of information found here.
Acceptable use
You're welcome to read, link to, and reference BankSnipe. Please don't scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others, or use it to misrepresent your relationship with any bank.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site evolves. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
