Does PostFinance offer an API sandbox?
Yes. Sandbox access is available but not self-service, so you go through the bank to get in.
Which open banking standard does the PostFinance API use?
Other: A non-standard or country-specific open-banking API. Two banks on the same standard can still differ in the details, so read the bank's own documentation before you build.
How do you authenticate with the PostFinance API?
OAuth 2.0. Production access to the regulated endpoints also means registering as a licensed third-party provider with the bank.
Does PostFinance offer premium APIs?
Not that we have recorded. PostFinance's listing covers the core account and payment APIs only.
Which countries does the PostFinance API cover?
Switzerland.
Is the PostFinance API free to use?
PostFinance's APIs sit outside the EEA open banking mandate, so pricing is entirely the bank's own call. BankSnipe does not track pricing, so confirm it with the bank.
